When 17-year-old Daniel first joined the Youth and Community Discipleship Program, he was in a dark place. Angry, isolated, and struggling with addiction, he had dropped out of school and felt invisible in his own village.

He attended a discipleship gathering just to pass the time. But something changed that day.

For the first time, someone looked him in the eye and said, “You matter. God has a purpose for your life.”

That moment marked the beginning of transformation. Through weekly sessions filled with mentorship, prayer, honest conversations, and life-skills training, Daniel slowly began to believe in himself and in a brighter future. Today, Daniel is back in school. He leads a youth Bible study of 20 other teenagers many fighting the same battles he once faced. He organizes community clean-ups and visits elderly neighbors with food and prayer. His healing has inspired his siblings, peers, and even his parents.
